What do you do when you have a creative block? Flip through crafting magazines? Look at Pinterest? Or other websites for inspiration? I tend to do all of the above. Then, I get overwhelmed with all of the ideas I don't know where to start. Try to jot down ideas on index cards and randomly pull one out. Challenge yourself to focus on just that idea instead of all of the others.
My sister-in-law, Teresa, and I have been working on Christmas cards. After browsing for card ideas, we get "brain" overload. This year I will try to document instructions on cards that we make so I can use some of the same templates with new paper next year. Stay tuned for Christmas card ideas.
Check out the badge I posted on my blog and the link below to search for Cricut images. It will save you time. We all need more of that, right?

I absolutely love scrapbooking (it is very addicting) and I fell in love with Close to My Heart products. CTMH is an awesome company with great products for scrapbooking, card making and other crafty projects. Share your memories with loved ones and future generations by creating scrapbooks that will be around when you are gone.

Stitch Guide
If you have thought about incorporating stitching into your scrapbook layouts, you need to watch this short YouTube video. Once you watch it, you are going to want to order the items listed at the end of the video. Go to my Web site to place your order, call me (901-626-8383) or email (kdavis8339@aol.com) me.
I would love to help you incorporate beautiful stitching into your next project.
Happy crafting,

I have just moved my craft room to the walk out basement in our home. It is a work in progress, but I am really enjoying it so far. I have been trying to post a picture, but no luck. I will try to get it posted soon.

We always want what others have!
I recently went to seminar with other Compensation professionals (my career that pays the bills), and one of the speakers showed this YouTube video: Monkey Goes Crazy. It is funny to watch, but really emphasizes the message that we are happy with what we have until we see what someone else has, then we want what they have! This is true in terms of compensation, scrapbook products, cars, houses, family life or just about anything. Check it out!
